Art with Missy
Hello creative!
My name is Missy and I am a creative artist who lives in Mildura.
I enjoy making anything I can get my hands on, and I love being able to show people new ways of thinking and expressing themselves.
I have a Bachelor of Visual Arts with Honours and a Master of Social Work. I have been working in the fields of community services (youth work, suicide prevention and social inclusion) for around ten years.
I believe creativity is an essential and rewarding part of being human; it helps us to understand ourselves and the world around us and can help us feel connected, express our emotions and work through ideas. If you have made it to this page you are interested in exploring your creative side!
Let me fill you in on what you can expect from ‘Art with Missy’.
Workshops are run from my private studio where you can immerse yourself in my creative space. I like to tailor my workshops to each creative, so that we are exploring a medium that you like to use (such as drawing), and at a pace that suits you. You may be interested in drawing, clay, or painting, or in developing concepts and courage to express yourself. What is most important is that you enjoy yourself and your creative process!
You will be provided with a visual arts journal when we begin. Journaling is an excellent way of both documenting your progress and coming up with ideas and inspirations. You won’t need to bring any supplies, I will have most things you need, but we will discuss your interests before we start and will plan our time together each week.
If this sounds like something you would like to be involved in, please head over to the Contact Me page and send me an email so that we can begin your registration!
